Did you switch the program run switch to run. After doing this you need to press TR plus the number you programmed it for, than I just dial up the throttle

You did not mention if your Powermaster is TMCC or Legacy. If it is the Legacy you also need the Command base.
If you have a standard PowerMaster and not the Legacy model, it is not compatible with the Legacy system without the additional Legacy PowerMaster Bridge.
Press TR ID #, press Boost.
Assuming you have the ID programmed and selected, you can power up using the following:
Technically, if your using the CAB 2 Legacy system you want to "roll up" the boost/ brake "multi function control."
