I'm not from around there so I won't be going but I just wanted to say enjoy the show. It's nice to read about your excitement to be in this hobby.

Lima. Ohio. Train show. I understand that the Lima Locomotive Works were torn down, not too terribly long ago. Kind of makes a "train show" seem...too late. But, I think that
Schenectady and Philadelphia (and Altoona) were just as clueless. I mean - why else
would anyone go to Lima, Ohio? The beaches?
I will probably go. Sometimes there is a lot of "O" gauge stuff, other times its more of a mix of gauges. When a "parts guy" comes with several tables of stuff, I can spend quite a bit of time looking through those drawers and containers, kicking myself for not writing down beforehand what I needed.

I plan on being there. Sometimes I walk out with quite a bit of stuff, other times I walk out with nothing. I usually end up talking with friends I haven't seen since the last Lima show. Even if I don't spend a dime more than the admission, it is well worth the short trip for me.

Tom,
I won't have anything there for a dime, but it if you have just a bit more than that I'd be happy to sell you something.
