I am amazed at the amount of FEFs that are selling.

It's admittedly a big leap, but a healthy number of orders for the FEF priced where they are, pretty much gives Lionel a green light to push $3K MSRP easily for the next Vision Line steamer.

A lot of people missed them the first time.  The past version was hard to find on the secondary market-especially in black.  Now, with whistle steam, the FEF is even better.

Plus, this time you can get a number other than 844!

What I'm really excited about is the UP Excursion passenger train announcement for next year.  I'll be Pat's first order for it...

I'm thankful the new FEF isn't VL.  Never thought I'd say THAT!

Not to derail Pat's thread, future VL models will never cost same or less than a previous VL offering.  

It's all what buyers think they're getting for the money...

I wonder if the SD38 diesel locos will take 12 months until they are ready for sale.

If it takes a year, I might order an SD38.

I've been trying to do a pre-order for the Lionel 6-83420 SD60e Veterans engine on Pat's website this evening,  but when trying to go to checkout the only thing that keeps appearing is the "this page can't be displayed" message.  Has anyone else had this problem today when trying to pre order or is it just on my end.
