Hello. I have this set. For a 21 year old set, it was the high mark of Lionel. All powered units run great with Pullmor power. The passenger cars are really nice and include a diner car in the set.

Gorgeous set and layout, 3Rail!
I have this great set and it looks and runs beautiful. I am having a problem with the diner sounds car however. I was about to give up making the station sounds. When I went to the " Station stop" position only the clickey clack and air break release sounds work. None of the remote buttons would make announcements work. I have reset the Program several times using my Legacy remotes, it did not change. I no longer have a CAB 1, only a CAB2 and CAB3.
Tonight I was giving it one more try and I accidentally left in the TR setting position and pulled down on the horn slider and the station sounds started working. But it still did not work when the train was moving and none of the other remote buttons worked.
Any ideas? I do not want to give up, specially now that I know some of the sounds on the sound board are working. Thanks in advance for your help.
