The Wiring diagram is in Lionel's Supplement 42 on page 3-9 see attached. The supplement has exploded diagrams of the parts of the tender on 3-7 and 3-8.

The Lionel Service Supplements were on the lionel.com website. After it was redesigned recently they appear to no longer be there.

I do not know where else on the web you can find them. They were also issued by Greenberg in actual paper format.

Follow this link, the entire set is in three self-extracting files.

Thank you very much for the links.  I was able to download them successfully and amazingly unarchive and open them on my Mac.  Now that I have the info I'll have to see if I can do something useful with it.

They were moved.  Fellow forumite, @ed h has found the new location.

Great, these are the kind of things I like to keep local as I am then 100% sure they won't disappear when someone reorganizes their website.  It's like the old Olsen site, glad I archived that before they went belly-up!
