The 9369 Sinclair tank car was part of the (1980) 6-1071 Mid Atlantic Limited set-and was advertised to have die cast sprung trucks on all its cars. I have looked in person and (mostly) on E Bay at many individual cars ( 9369 tank car, 9372 caboose, 9433 box car, 9371 hopper, 9370 gondola and the 9233 16-wheel transformer car) of the set-and they all have these metal trucks-EXCEPT for a few ( ? about 3-4 out of 10 ) of the tank cars which have the plastic trucks used by Lionel in 1980-and a few are described as being the more uncommon version of that car because of these plastic trucks. I have tried to read about this discrepancy and could find nothing. Does anybody out there in the OGR world know anything about this? Thanks in advance, P Hering Lombard, IL
