Anyone know the timeline where the ALCO FA's went from the trim around the front coupler as part of the shell, to the trim being part of the front truck? I am looking for shells that have the trim as part of the whole shell, but all I have found is folks calling their offerings an ALCO shell, but they have no integral coupler trim. Or is one not really an ALCO? They are not F series EMD's but what Lionel calls ALCO. Thanks for any guidance.
