Hi everyone, I'm sure most or all of you are aware of the new tractor trailer rigs in 1/48 that Lionel is producing. The Lionel trailer is orange, blue and cream in color. Has Lionel ever made a scale size boxcar with these colors and Lionel logo? I would even consider a traditional sized one. I thank all in advance for your help.

Not that I know of.  I'd love to have a scale PS-1 boxcar and a milk car in Lionel colors.  The only scale Lionel livery items I have are the I-12, CA-4 and Northeastern cabooses, as well as an LRRC 2-bay covered hopper and a bunch of the 8,000 gallon tank cars.

There are many Traditional boxcars in Lionel colors.  The Hi-cubes from the Centennial series at least look good with scale equipment.  They came in a four-car set and are easy to find on auction sites.  I have them and like them.

Don, That is a good looking train set! To everyone, here is what I'm after. I have a industrial building on a siding with a Miller Engineering Lionel neon sign on it to represent the building as a Lionel factory. I want a Lionel boxcar to add to the veracity of the scene. So, the boxcars in that video would work if I could find one. I did see a Lenny the Lion boxcar which would not be too bad.

Me too, or even a short series of them in various combinations.  After all, they are already doing scale Halloween and Christmas cars, so why not Lionel Lines?  They could also do the round roof boxcars, and even a cabin car based on the new PRR model.  For that matter, I'd also like a Polar Railroad cabin car based on the new tooling...  How about it, Lionel?
