Good morning to all...

I have a new skeleton log car that is broken and I'd like to know how people are repairing die-cast cars.  This is a 6-19497 Westside Lumber skeleton lumber car and one of the 4 cross-bar members broke off where it meets the main I-bar car body.  This cross-bar is the attachment point for the hold-down chain that holds the log on so the repair must be stout in nature AND very permanent!  My thoughts go to JB-weld, Gorilla Glue, Tech-Bond (replacement for the old 'Cool-Chem' found at www.Tech-Bond.net) and then perhaps drill-tap and screw once the glue had set for 24 hours.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Best,

Dave
