I have never seen a photo of this building on a layout. I am finally building one I've had for years, and would love to see some examples on a layout. It has a lot of windows, so i'm looking for something to put inside.

This was the first Lionel building kit I ever assembled. It was a lot of fun. Mine is placed far enough from the edge of the table that I can get away without have interior details except to the very "trained" eye but it would benefit from the effort. Maybe in the future?

I found a transformer 2-pack at my hobby shop. It's the transformers you see on the flatcars with transformer. Painted them flat grey and put them inside. You can't really see much of them, but with so many windows, I thought it would add. I also found the dock to be way too long, so I shortened it. I also will be putting it away from a track, as I don't have much siding room. A truck or two nearby, will suffice.

Nice work Jim K (BOGART).... I like what you did with the building in the background with the black angled roof sections... It looks like the wall sections from the original IHC engine house kit with the round top windows.... Could you possibly post some more photos of it ? Or you could send them to me via email...
I have 2 more engine house kits that I bought to "kit bash" into other structures, yours looks great, and I would have never thought of adding that industrial roof profile.
Here's a photo of one of my IHC engine house kitbash projects below

Jim, Sorry for the interruption. Didn't mean to derail your post topic. I do have some Electrical Substation photos for you to look at.... I bought several kits Electrical Substations and Municipal Building kits and kitbashed them together... But for the purposes of weathering effects, trim colors and some ideas for "add on " details, these might be helpful.
