Over a year ago I bought a Lionel 6-27665 Bicentennial Extended Vision Caboose to go with my Bicentennial engine. Unfortunately, I did not take it out of the box right away. When I finally went to try it on my layout I - it derailed on an 0-72 curve.
When I looked closer at the rear truck I noticed that only three of the 4 wheels come in contact with the track. I tried taking the caboose apart. Unassembled from the frame of the caboose, the trucks seem okay by themselves, and glide along the track. I am thinking something in truck assembly is bent or something is wrong with the frame of the caboose. Has anyone else ran into a similar problem with an extended vision caboose?
I'd hate to have to buy another caboose - if there is a simple fix for this.
