The one I received had 2 dummy couplers, purchased at Charles Ro. Hope Lionel reads this

Coupler setup varies year by year. Older ones had two electro couplers. Only way to know is check Lionel’s catalog or parts pages when they become available.

There was a time when subsequent releases had more features and detail, lately things have been going the other way.
