Lionel Freedom Train Exit Car

Has anyone else turned on the sound in this car? I put it on the track for the first time today and I swear it sounds like the same recording of a recip engine starting up and idling that comes with the Lionel Classics 44 Missile Firing Control car (6-36730). Just for grins I dug out my control car and I swear that it is the same recording!

Also noticed when I shut the train down that there is no shutdown sound effect, just start up and idle. Too bad they did not put in a capacitor to support a shutdown sound.
