Just wanted to pass along my take on this newer starter set offering!

Follow the timestamps in video description to jump to the section that interests you most, I tried to shoot a bit broad from the newbies, to those with more track time under their belts.

Trying to get back into O gauge more from other scales, this set was too neat of an opportunity to pass on..My appreciation of the GE demo fleet might have been a deciding factor as well. Overall I think this is an awesome take on a modern starter set, the Tier 4 casting matches the stack cars well, and printing is very well done across the board. Even if compressed for the Railsounds RC system, I'm loving the return to road specific crew chatter and more realistic dialogue lines! Here's hoping we can get a full scale ET44 in the coming year's offerings....Along with a scale GE blue demo + 2015.

Nice job on the review! For a starter set, was very impressed.

Also loved the "rivet counters, look away."

Thank you!  I try to have a little fun with my videos, and after years of mostly doing HO...I've learned to head off the counters when possible. Even in a friend group locally (Only one who really dabbles in O), people were jumping on the lack of details and size without considering this was a starter set engine built to take a beating.
