I built a MU with two Lionel geeps, one GP7(6-28567) and one GP9(6-38896). The GP7 is the lead engine running short hood forward. After a power down and power back up I lost the cab lights. I tried to run the engine addressed individually or in the MU but I still have nothing;  all other featuers seem to work fine. If I try a reset I will get a momentary blink so they do work, but just don't stay on. Im still learning the Leagacy controls......any idea what I'm doing wrong?.

Thanks, Scott

I called Lionel customer service today and they helped me out. Cab lights are now working again.

I have to add a well deserved thank-you and atta-boy to the folks at Lionel; What a concept, I called customer service, talked to a actual human being that walked me thru a fix for my problem. These ladies were very professional, and very knowledgable on their product.

I also had to recently order parts from Lionel and found this also to be a refreshing change from what I had become accustomed to from another manufacturer. Found the parts I needed from the Lionel web-site, placed my order, received a confirmation, and my parts arrived two days later. It was refreshing to not have to make multiple phone calls only to leave multiple voice mails or e-mails non of which would ever be returned, then only to wonder if they actually got my message or parts order.

This is how it should be. If Lionel's competition is smart they will take note....this is how you win over and keep customers. Although I'M just getting back into the Lionel game, I hope they continue with this business model. This is what helps keep the hobby enjoyable when the inevitable problems do come up.
