Go to the Lionel website product finder. Key in RS-11 as your search, and you'll find a page appear with the RS-11 products. If an instructional video is available, it will be listed there when you select the specific product.
I just viewed the video for the Alaska RS-11 since I have one on order.

Thanks a bunch Allan! I had forgotten that Lionel had made an instructional video on it already. Thanks again!
Can someone post a picture of a Nickel Plate Road RS11 thanks
^ I'll post my Nickel Plate version, when it arrives. I'm really looking forward to that one myself.

Well, some care about such specifics (more power to them, I guess), but I'm one of those guys who just enjoys--and buys--pretty much whatever is produced for my favorite road names. Doesn't matter one bit to me if AAR never had RS11s. It's a neat looking unit and Legacy equipped, so it's one I'll be picking up as soon as it reaches my dealer's shop.
Here, by the way, is a link to the AAR's all-time roster:
As promised, here are photos of my Nickel Plate Road RS-11, as well as the Lehigh Valley RS-11...
I'll post a video in this weekend's "Weekend at the Movies" thread.
Wow beautiful Keith! That NKP unit is really nice. Love the stripping! It is definitely what makes this engine!
Could you make a video if you don't mind?
Here's a video...
Excellent video Keith!
Thanks for sharing! I really like your carpet layout. It is really cool!
I am surprised you don't have Legacy yet!
I'll do a video of my Penn Central unit this weekend. Love the engine, but it doesn't love my Atlas O72/O54 curved switches......jumps them every time

Thank you very much, Mike.
Soon. I keep holding off on getting the system. Every time I save for the Legacy base, I end up finding something else to buy, but now that I have a few Legacy engines I really want it.
I'm planning to pick up my Legacy system this weekend, and my RS11 is scheduled to be delivered to my dealer early next week. I'm looking forward to playing with both.
Are the "Dummy"or "non-powered" units the same as the last batch- NO roller pickups and/or lightbulbs?
Anyone with the PRR versions can comment on TMCC vs. Legacy? Is it only about the Electronics?
Keith - 2 questions 1) How's the gap between trucks and chassis? 2) The sound cut's out because there's no battery installed? TIA
prrhorseshoecurve,
Sadly there are no lights or pick-up rollers in the dummy unit.
Mark,
1) The gap isn't bad...looks good to me. When I get home, I'll post a close-up photo, so you can judge for yourself.
2) The sound is only cutting out when I switch direction conventionally. I did not install a battery in the diesel.
