If I remember correctly, you can run a Lionel Legacy Locomotive on a MTH DCS layout, but not the other way around. Am I correct ?

You cannot use a Lionel Remote/Base connected to MTH TIU to control both Lionel and MTH Command Control engines.
You can use a MTH DCS Remote via a MTH TIU connected to a Lionel Base to control both Lionel and MTH Command Control engines.

As long as you have both control systems, you can obviously run both types at the same time on the layout by simply using their control system's remote. I run TMCC/Legacy at the same time as DCS on my layout all the time.
