Lionel Lionchief 2.0

All of the features listed for LionChief Plus 2.0 are standard using the LionChief app or TMCC control.

LC 2.0 features smoother running, more diesel levels and classification lights, as opposed to LC plus, but I run the LC app or LC universal remote. No TMCC nor LEGACY. Suspect more features with the more advanced control systems.....

Whatever features the engine comes with, whether LC, LC+ or LC+2.0, are all available and operational using whichever control system works for that engine and which you choose to use and from whatever device you use. As was stated, the only exception is creating a lash-up for 2.0, which requires Legacy.

Thank you. Does the Cab 1L setup allow engines to be lashed or do I need the full Legacy deal?

The Cab1L system certainly allows lash-ups, but I do not know, specifically, if you can lash-up a 2.0 engine with it or if you need the Legacy system. I suspect you need the Legacy system, but others may know for sure.

when I tried to lash up a legacy engine with my 2.0 engine I could not get them both to move, the legacy would but the 2.0 would not. Not sure if this was user error (I’m new to the legacy remote) or if they don’t lash up.

The LionChief 2.0 engine must be the lead engine in the TR. The TR must be a number between 01-09. When building the TR make sure you use 2 digit numbers. TR 06 for example.
