Lionel, MTH, Atlas O, Do you want to know more about your customer base? How about presenting a customer survey several times a year on your websites?

SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA

Sounds like a good idea to me. Yes, they do get information when people post here, but they would get a lot more personal information if they did surveys.

The newest edition of "Model Railroad Hobbyist" has a survey in their latest downloadable edition.  All you do is click on the image in the magazine and it takes you there

Model Railroaderhas done surveys that I have responded to, but they did not addressthree rail.  Back years ago MTH came out and did a survey, I responded and asked for a gas electric. They did one, but it is generic and not a Brill, Mack, General Electric,or other prototype model, so I was underwhelmed.  Since they have not done that since (a survey or anothergas electric), I have thought that it was not a success.  With the current market and status of overseas production, I

don't see any manufacturer responding to all these "I wish they'd make...." comments on here, or I'd add to the clamor.

The first question on the survey should read:

If you were the CEO of (Company Name) what changes would you make? Or the first question on the survey could read:

How would you make (Company Name) better?

It's a great idea. The chances of it happening are: Lionel 1%, MTH minus zero.

Surveys are nice. However it can be underwhelming to see another run added to the pile of previous runs of the same engine for example.
