Image not found. Please update! I'm excited for this car.
Hmmm kind of a mix of paint schemes isn't it? Doesn't the small lettering and no logo belong on a car that is all freight car red, no black roof? When it has black roof shouldn't it have the large PRR Keystone and large lettering?
I got the MOW version in yellow. The yellow looks good to me, and matches the other yellow MOW cars I bought from Lionel.
Going to Kadee-ize this one soon.
I received the C&O version yesterday from Charles Ro. It’s lighter than advertised and borderline pink.
Wish MTH had kept this tooling.

I ordered this one too.

I plan on doing that to my B&O I12 but have hit a small snag in that there are no Kadee-style mounting holes and I really do not want to drill/tap some. I do have a set of two-rail cabin car trucks that I can truck-mount the couplers but have not yet gotten the courage to take the I12 apart. I am not sure of the brand of the trucks and if they will even fit the I12.
Looks pretty good to me. I'll post pictures when mine comes in.
@PRRMP54 try the Kadee 819 extended draft gear:

You will still have to drill a hole pattern but it will be on the frame and not the platforms. Not sure if Lionel updated the newer I12s for Kadee mounts.
As for the Lionel N6b, I’m glad the tooling is still around but I just cannot deal with Lionel’s colors.

Yeah, this thing is borderline orange definitely not freight car color.

I realize I am an outlier here, but I would really like these also done in PRR MoW gray. The Pennsy painted their MoW equipment gray from 1937 to 1953, when it switched to chrome yellow. Most of the gray MoW equipment remained gray for many years (decades?) until they were shopped. With some gray and a couple red freight cars in the mix, a MoW consist would look more realistic.
