If you are talking about these die-cast ones #6-62283, I am using them with my Atlas track and they work just fine. They need a little finesse on initial installation to make proper contact for the lights, then tighten the set screws and you are ready to go. It is not difficult, just a little fiddling until it all works.

I may be confused here as I thought the die-cast ones above were once called the #260 and were the old school ones, but Lionel now has these #6-12715 listed as #260. I have never used these or tried them with my Atlas track.

You are correct. Lionel has it wrong. Not the first time, and not likely to be the last.

Thanks, I could have sworn I saw the die cast ones called a #260 somewhere before. Maybe just another glitch in the new Lionel website?
