Wow, I ordered parts at 4:30 am this morning and was notified , order fulfilled and being shipped at 8:15 am. Nice
Unfortunately half of the parts I wanted were out of stock or unavailable. Oh well.

In all seriousness I usually have a list together. I forgot all about it but fortunately I can't recall anything that's pressing so I'm good.
Sounds like they were ready.
If you look further on the lionel webpage they having some locos for sale at TREMENDOUS savings!!
Good deals on legacy engines as well. Refurbished though.
I was amazed. Not only did I get a email conformation, I got a shipping notice. Good work Lionel
Ordered at 5am and by 8 am got the email saying it was shipped with fedex
Just placed my order. Worked fine and got a confirmation email. Only downside is that I was hoping to get an R2LC or R4LC C08 but all are out of stock. They only seem to have a few for specific items.

I've been waiting for this sale to buy a wanted, but not needed, old sound board for a diesel engine with no horn. I got it for half price, and it was shipped within 2 hours I believe. I'm quite happy with Lionel right now!

Thanks, Rick. I can get the R4LC from 3rd rail, I was just looking for a half price deal.
I looked at the flyerchief AF berkshires with no box and NO WARRANTY and I did not see a deal! Twenty bucks more and you can buy a new one from Charles Ro.

Where do I go to place an order?
@Brad J posted:Where do I go to place an order?
Lionel’s website. Under the Support link.

Go to Lionel.com and click on SUPPORT.
As you add things the price will show as retail but, at checkout, it will recalculate to 50% off.
I ordered at 6:30 am on Friday and notified it shipped at 8:30am. That was great, only downer I could not get an R4LC.

Bought a couple of D mount coil couplers for a project, price is good when it's 2 for 1!
If there is a part that is not available;
contact me I may be able to 3D print it.
I just received my order today!

Ordered parts on Friday received them on Sunday. WHO IS THIS COMPANY? Whoever you are….. keep it up!!!!!
thank you
They have definitely stepped up their game just like others ordered Friday morning and received Sunday. I have never had a bad experience with Lionel parts or warranty.
Similar experience here. Ordered on Friday. Parts arrived Monday morning. Lionel support gets an A+ on shipping.
Placed my order a little after noon on Friday and received confirmation email. I just checked on it and still shows pending fulfillment.
Doug
I received the part I purchased on Friday the 23rd today (Monday), three days! It was also very, very well packed.
Good job, Lionel!
I placed my order before any of you at 12:05 am on 9/23/22 and my status shows "Pending Fulfillment" over a week later.
Am I the only one with a delayed order?
I too placed order on 09/23/22 at noon and my order is “Pending Fulfillment “. Yes a week later.
I got an email from Lionel that they received my order on September 24, but I have not heard anything else with my order either. I will try to call them next week.
I will join in and say I too am part of the "pending fulfillment" club

Not unusual. Actually same day shipping is unusual. They have gotten much better but it wasn’t too long ago that 4 weeks to ship was the order of the day.

UPDATE: My order was pulled and shipped on the 29th and I received it this morning.
Thanks Lionel.
Doug
I actually had two orders. One placed on Friday and one placed Sunday. The Sunday order was just for some Bettendorf trucks and has already arrived. The other one still says pending fulfillment.

Same here. I placed an order Friday morning and later realized I had forgotten an item so I placed a second order Saturday evening. Received the second order Tuesday and am still waiting on the first one (shows pending fullfilment). However no time was wasted in charging my credit card.

Thank you Lionel for another perfect order and delivery.

Am I the only one with a delayed order?
I am in the same situation with the "pending fulfillment" status. I placed my order at 12:04am on 9/23/22, but after paying, checking out and receiving my order confirmation I noticed that nothing on my order(including the total) received the 50% off. In addition, the date on my order confirmation showed 9/22/23. I phoned customer support at approx. 9:30am that morning(9/23/22) and was told that shouldn't have happened. The woman then applied the 50% discount to the order and sent me a revised order confirmation(but the order date still showed 9/22/22) along with the statement the order should be shipped within 24-48 hours. The following week(9/27/22) I logged into my Lionel account to check the order and saw the "pending fulfillment" status along with a bright orange re-order block under each item and the total. Never saw this in any of my previous parts sale orders so I called Lionel again. Due to Lionel having to revise my original order, I thought that I might have to re-order everything but I was told my order was good and not to click on any of the orange blocks. So here we are at Oct 1 with my order still showing "pending fulfillment" and now some parts that I ordered at 12:04am(4minutes after the sale started) are showing up as "out of stock". This may sound selfish, but most businesses fulfill orders in the order in which they are received. Just my opinion.

Define "Most".
I totally understand your frustration as relayed in the first part of your post but ...
I order many things online. For me, when multiple orders are placed it's actually quite rare that they're shipped in the sequence they're ordered, especially from sources like:
Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot, Menards, OfficeMax, Lowes, Office Depot, NAPA, Rock Auto, AutoZone, Grainger, McMaster Carr, DigiKey, and Mouser.
The delivery rearrangement could be for any number of reasons.
Maybe they temporarily can't find some of your parts? Maybe they don't have the correct size of shipping box or envelope handy, or are temporarily out of stock on the specific shipping supplies needed to fill your order? Maybe one or more shipments of parts are coming in from one or more suppliers and not yet there?
Why should Lionel required to be any different than the big guys?
Mike
Mike,
Just for you, I'm revising my last statement to read "Most businesses that I'VE PERSONALLY DEALT WITH" usually fulfill the orders in the order in which they were received. CHI Garage doors, MSC, Ford, Marvin Windows, etc. You have your opinion-I have mine.
I put in my order on Friday morning. Received no email confirmation. Have not received the parts, either.
Just now checked my account and it said there was no order history.
Placed my order Saturday morning and it arrived today. It did travel 1800 miles , so about normal for this part of the world.
