I appreciate all the input regarding my rivet counting concerns.

If it weren't for this lousy forum, I wouldn't know the difference between silver and linseed oil with graphite.

Heres a video I just viewed on youtube showcasing the H10 that will sell alot of these.

Is Daniel's Trains a forum member?? He should be.

Lionel has used mustard yellow, aka "gold" on their K4 #5432 that I purchased early this year  The K4 bells were not plated either.  My M1a engines have plated bells, but the K4 was painted.  It is a minor issue and only noticeable when the H10 and K4 engines are next to an engine like the M1a with a plated bell.  A little dust will cover the bells in time.

I am eagerly waiting for my Pennsylvania Lines engine to arrive from Nicholas Smith Trains.  It appears that Lionel has a success in the H10 engines just in time for Christmas. This H10 is perfect for a circle of track under the Christmas Tree.

Sincerely, John Rowlen

I agree and Lionel has painted bells and whistles before.  No one notices.  I mean my Vision Line CC2 has polished bell and painted whistle.   This ones a winner.
