I have a few questions about the latest offerings of these from Lionel. What roadnames would pull the DETX gons? I was also wondering would it be prototypical to put the NS and PPLX ones together? I have never personally seen modern coal trains where roadnames are mixed i.e. UP and BNSF (doesn't mean they haven't, just means I haven't seen it). But I could swear I've seen a mix of regular roadname and the utility owned hoppers at least once but I'm not certain of it. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

My experience in Denver would typically be 110-115 car trains, with most cars utility owned and maybe 10% of the cars a combination of railroad owned (UP/CMO/CHTT or BNSF) and lessor (like Trinity/TILX) cars.  When I see these trains in Ohio, frequently the original power is running through with the train.

I have no idea about NS or CSX originated trains out of areas like Kentucky or West Virginia.
