Just to let everyone know I received 2 set of R27 command control switches today, I was totally suprized to see them last time I looked the delivery was out in August.
do not think I will have time to get them in the layout until September!

Do you think that the diverging route could be trimmed much? Having a full curve in the turnout makes a nasty 'S' curve for sidings. I was thinking of using FastTrack, but I hear rumors that MTH may bring the SHS #6 turnout to market at some point. That would be ideal.
It appears you can trim the turnout leg a few inches.
it regards waiting for MTH #6 have been waiting 10years now since it was first mentioned in SHS catalog so how long do you want to wait, most of my track is SHS and I have been able to adapt to Lionel track so if you look what is out there in track we are much better off then anytime in the history of S Gauge in my humble opinion.
