Hi, Just received a NYC S2 legacy engine and am having no luck running it in conventional mode. I DO NOT own a legacy controller. I set the switch on top of the engine to “run” instead of pgm, the engine turns on and makes engine sounds but when i cycle from neutral to forward (or backwards) it does not move. The only anomoly is that the light in the cab continues to blink when i apply power. I am running it on Lionel tubular track with an old school lock-on for power (wired correctly to track, red to middle rail etc) connected to an mth 750 watt power supply and an mth controller. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.s…is there a way to reset engine in conventional mode?
