Hey, All

I will be shipping the Berkshires out on Monday 11-24-14. I just want to thank all of you who ordered these from us. This will be a long day because we have 67 units to ship. I think the UPS man will not be a happy camper. I should have a couple extras if they all arrive in one piece, I will post the excess units on the forum so you guys get first shot at them. Just a reminder we will have a Black Friday Sale and the details will be Posted on Thanksgiving Day

That is good to hear. It is too bad that you have to do all of that work that should have been done in the first place. And, no, I did not order one. I have something else on order with you.

First, nice that Pat is taking the initiative of checking all of the Berkshires before shipping them out to his customers.

 

Secondly, there are probably a lot more folks like me that have already received their new Berkshires and had no issues at all. We have heard from those who did have problems, but let's not assume that everyone had the same issues.

Pat, you are a customer friendly and caring proprietor, by inspecting all of those Berkshire locomotives not only will your customers be happy, but also anyone who receives such an item as a gift.

This is a great business practice and you will be popular and much better off for your thoughtful and thorough efforts.

Too bad this has to be done, but it improves customer, owner relations, as some manufacturers, either don't, or at times don't, inspect their items at their 'Quality Control' areas.

Though I didn't buy one of the Berks, this is why I do all of my orders with Patrick-his service is outstanding.  

 

What an effort on his part to unpack all of those locomotives, check them, and then repack each one.  All of this done in a timely manner also.

 

His effort will allow many to enjoy this new locomotive over the long weekend and for many years.  Great job Patrick!

We only had 3 units with loose bushings and we fixed them with parts we had in stock, no big deal. We have 3 black and 3 gold POLAR Berks left. Please call for ordering.

So the big question... How many loco's did you encounter with any "problem" that prevented you from shipping it?  And depending on that answer, any "extras" remaining?  

 

I'm sure it was no small task to check each locomotive prior to shipping.  But it will give your customers much greater confidence in their purchase.
