Shipping schedule update, 26 Sep. The 726 Berk passenger set has flipflopped with the freight set (at least for now). Subject to change, a lot of product is scheduled to be shipped over the next three months. And a new catalog is due.

And I was hoping to get that 726 Berk passenger set by Christmas...
They are cutting it real close....
Oh don't worry Lionel updated their list again, it was updated 9-17, 9-18, 9-19, 9-21, 9-24, 9-25 again today 9-26. Anyone think that it will change tomorrow or Friday...
Probably the e-unit went bad in the ship and it only goes in reverse, that could explain the delays in getting here to the states!

In my opinion this is completely uncalled for. Lionel is in there pitchin', doing the best they can under what must be lousy circumstances. A watched ship list never does. Let it rest.

I'm not bashing Lionel, not at all. I think it's funny. The only thing I look at is the things that are shipped. When I see that it is shipped I know soon that I will be getting it. And today about 1 hour ago I received my Bethlehem Steel and Christmas 0-4-0 shifters which really look nice plus 2 cars from my orders. And yes some of the stuff that I have on order has been delayed and I don't care. It just means I can buy something else until those things come in. Most of the trains (about 99%) I buy are Lionel. At the spring York meet I was able to get a Vision Challenger because due to the delays in some things.
As I said I just think it's funny how some people get upset at the delays. I would rather have something right the first time it's made. And I'm like many others who can't wait until the new catalogs come out to see what I may want.
Hey, I love Lionel and the things that they are bringing out and I can wait for things, no problem here.
I see the UP Anniversary Set is now November. No problem at all for me. More funds for York!
