Any thoughts on sound quality for the E 7 B units and are they worth the cost. Appreciate any info from your experience with these.

I would say the sound is better than any diesel. Certainly an improvement on what comes out of the A unit alone. Not sure I would call it super though. Just very good.
They have added a lot sound effects as well which can be turned off if desired like wheel squeal.

I agree with the above post. I have a Alco FB and besides it being really loud. I don't think there is anything super about it. I expected a deeper prime mover sound.
