Received my set plus the stationsounds diner & theater car.  No damage at all.  Run great and look great being pulled by Big Boy.  VL Challenger loco on order.  I can’t say enough about the diner.  Really polishes the set off nicely.  Sound is a great dimension to enjoy.

I have two of these cars plus the theater car to add to my UP Excursion roster. These are not my photos as my cars have only been unboxed to check for cosmetic defects (none fortumately) but do depict what mine are like. 

Notice that true to the catalog image there are bellows style diaphragms between the cars except that the observation car has the modern style tube diaphragm at the rear.

Unlike the earlier Excursion cars the Challenger dome and coach I have are not named but have numbers that correspond to a pair of prototypes.

Are those cars able to have kadees put on?

Yes, and there are scale couplers in the box.
