The Mrs - Chocolat' éclair - found four of the Lionel Victorian Building Kits in my larder and has been repainting and detailing them. She would like three more - but I don't see any online.... I thought these things were like everywhere. Anyone seen some of these kits?

Nicholas Smith Trains has lots of them. Give them a call.
Thank you - I will....
I was not aware of Lionel ever making building kits. If you mean the Victorian San Francisco row houses...yes, N.Smith had a few (in dusty boxes) the last time I looked (directly across from the midpoint of the "O" counter).
Are these on the Nicholas Smith web site?
Yes, to search you type in lio and then the lionel product number. For example - lio612976 (no spaces or dashes)
6-12975 - Steiner Victorian Building
6-12976 - Dobson Victorian Building
6-12977 - Kindler Victorian Building
Yes - they had them - we ordered one of each today and they are on the way..... she is laying out a street leading up to the big church with 7 of these houses on it..... She is doing a really good job painting these - very San Francisco row house..... I will post pictures as she gets this thing wrapped up.....
I can hardly wait to see the Eclairs work on this. Seven of these house lining the street should be spectacular.
The real prize is trying to find the UP Coal loading facility : Cheyene 650 ton coal bunker... anyone have one of those?
It spans quite a few tracks and is very large... I have been looking for one of these!
Interesting, indeed! This would be a good topic of discussion with the Atlas folks at York in a couple of weeks. They seem to have scrounged a lot of the old O gauge injection molding tooling from people like IHC, AHM, Walthers, et al.
That ubiquitous 2-stall engine house is one example...I believe it's been made and/or marketed by about 4 different entities in its life. Like many Plasticville building lots at flea markets, train shows, garage sales, the windows, walls, roof pieces for that enginehouse keep showing up in boxes of miscellany. I have good intentions of using them to create some flats or a unique industrial building.......just too many other things taking priority.
Something to add to my list of York to-do's.

I don't believe this coal bunker was ever produced in O scale.
Tag18 you are correct... but it sure makes an awesome interior for the O scale Korber general power and light generating building!
