Lionels newest power masters connect wirelessly to Legacy base. But do I still need to use the tmcc lockon?

Short answer is there’s absolutely no reason to have the TMCC lock-on with a new LEGACY PowerMaster. If you want the long answer I’m sure there’s plenty of us that can provide 😜
Truthfully, I see no reason for the TMCC Direct Lockon at all. The PH180 has an excellent electronically triggered breaker, and the TMCC Direct Lockon steps on the MTH DCS signal as another strike against it. The only thing it seems to do is provide a convenient way to connect Fastrack to a transfomer, but that's hardly rocket science anyway.
