Loco Sounds Steam Engine Chuffing problems

I have a MTH Loco Sounds engine that the chuffing is not cuffing much looks like the tape on the motor I know is used for the chuffing is not chuffing that much. Where can I get the tape from or what is the other color besides black it’s blended in.
