Greetings subway aficionados, members SIRT and MCD 4x4

I have a question.

I am interested in finding the right color paint for subway MOW Yellow.

Commercial rattle can, hobby air brush paint, or other recommendation appreciated.

I have a post war switcher  shell (which is cosmetically in hideous shape!) in need of an new identity.

Having some subway MOW cars that need a motor this may be the way until the cash avail for a commercial one.

Also, there was a company once upon a time where I obtained subway heralds decals. Being that was in early 2001 or 2

I wondered if anyone knew if they were still in business.

Thanking all who answer.

Transfer.

Pierre.

I think you're looking for Island modelworks llc in Farmingdale, NY 11735 . I've purchased decals for subways from them

Subway Vic, thanks ,  Island model works, of course are the ones. Let the orders commence!

Silver lake, thanks those are cool photos.  I recall seeing almost sand colored equipment very late at night(or early a.m.) on platforms in Queens. I never totally trusted my color vision under fluorescent lighting or darkened elevated platforms. Yes, they are well used and washed out.

SIRT, that's it! Farm Yellow. How cool is that. Rattle can easy.  Thanks a million.

New projects about to hit the bench.
