I want to put in an O Gauge tubular UCS uncoupling section where I only have room for a 1/2 section of O Gauge track. Other than cutting down a UCS track, is there any commercially available uncoupler that might fit in this space? Thanks for any help or ideas.

Check out Gargraves’ site. They have several different lengths down to around than 4”. I can get a picture later today.
Can't you cut down an adjacent track?
John
John's recommendation is probably the best approach, but if you can't cut down adjacent track (switches?), Gargraves #117, Compact Remote Control Magnetic Uncoupling Section, is only 3" long. You can connect it to your O gauge track with their #801 O Gauge Mating Pins. Pics are from GG's web site.

Use a regular piece of track of the brand you are using; take the magnet from an uncoupling track section, remove the necessary length from the center rail, and drop in the magnet.
Numerous threads on this simple "roll your own" uncoupling track solution.
Another easy alternative is to use a LIONEL Super O uncoupling track section, No. 37. These are only ~3" in length. Here's the item number for one on eBay with photo 233184952363.
Thanks all, the issue is that I have a half section 031 track in place that is between an 022 switch and an 031 curve. The half straight is plenty long to drop an uncoupled car along and not block anything.
Thanks for the thought on the super O section as I just might have one around somewhere. I'll also look at a Ross uncoupler as I have the pins but will have to put something under the track section since the profile is so much shorter than regular O gauge tubular track.
I was just hoping that I missed something in my search and there was a half section O gauge tubular uncoupler similar to the UCS track section available.
