I am looking for some postwar original freight car loads. The pipes for a 6121 pipe car. The logs for a 6111 log car and a white canisters for the 6112 gondola. I have one, I think there were two ? And if anyone has maybe paperwork or anything that would have been in the box for a 1575 set from 1957. I am giving this set some TLC, it is sentimental to the owner. Thanks in advance

If your looking for originals, check EBay, or a local train show. That would be your best bet.
The pipes and logs (originals), almost never show up without their cars. As for the canisters, they are white, and my original example has 4 of them. Good luck in your search.

The pipes and logs are available from the repro parts guys. I am not sure how close the pipes are to the originals but it would be pretty hard to tell repro logs from original logs. You can make logs using 7/16" dowel and some walnut stain.
