I need to route wires along the roof of a GP 7. Ideally, I'd like clips, just like MTH uses. Anyone know where I can get em, besides MTH?

Oops! I wasn't clear. I dont need to mate wires. I need to keep them from rubbing the flywheel on a GP7 I upgraded to PS2 The PS1 wires all fit in the 1 clip. For PS2 I need a second clip on the other side.
I'd prefer a clip solution to glue as I seem to have a knack for blowing bulbs and LEDs
Glue? I wasn't talking about glue.
Glue? I wasn't talking about glue.

I think you are talking about taking 2 wires and mating them. I am talking about a clip that holds wires in a specific place along the inside of the shell. If you are talking about that, i am missunderstanding you.
Glue a section of plastic soda straw along the underside of the roof. Pass the wires through the straw.
Well, you're right, I misunderstood you!
I use Hot Glue for this task. I also use small #32 wire in a color that isn't that obvious so that there is minimal contrast.
Marty;
I think you are referring to the small fairly flat thin metal clips, that have a foldover metal tab and self-adhesive on the contact, correct?
I don't have an answer for you, but I too wish I knew of a source for them.
I find they have a nasty habit of coming detached from steam boiler castings in the area close to the smoke unit, due to the oily smoke residue.
Anyone know where to get these?

Exactly the part. I have an email in to Midge from MTH

I use plastic cable clamps that are screw mounted. I tried the adhesive ones once but they eventually come loose if they carry any weight. I buy mine at Home Depot and they come in several sizes. Of course these probably won't work on the inside of your loco!

Yes, If anything bigger than hiring ants to hold the wires would work,,,
