Hi all
I've purchased a 671 recently. Runs fine but I'm certain it could use cleaning, lube and checking out. Anyone near to me? I'm about a mile from Giants Stadium and willing to drive up to an hours.
thanks

I'm not sure if he's still in business but it's worth a try. He and my Dad were good friends back in the day.

Check the Lionel website for authorized dealers. Lionel list them by State and City, unlike MTH where you have to know a zipcode.
I recommend R&D Lines in Metuchen, NJ. They were an official Lionel Service Station since the 1960s but Ben the owner couldn't miss work to take the class in Ohio so after all that they lost their Sevice Station license but they still service Lionel trains both old and new. I take all my PW work to Ben. His prices are very reasonable probably because he has less overhead. He does a great job too. He's listed in the flyers they used to include with locomotives So if you have an older list he should be on it. If not and you're still interested contact me offline and I'll get you the number.
You could also try Steve at Hobby masters in Red Bank. He did all my repair work that I couldn't do myself when I lived in NJ. I still send him stuff from Charlotte on occasion. He's a great guy
