Hello guys and gals......

I sand down the affected areas of the body but sprayed a short shot on the areas but some how it came out dull finish instead of gloss as said on the spray can so this made the problem worse. I guess the spray clear coat is defective and means I will have to go to another auto parts store and purchase another clear coat of the same thing and those spray cans are expensive at 7.99 per can sigh.   Few weeks ago I added the pick up rollers assembly and axle wipers for ground pick up, painted the bearing caps of the tender trucks and the trailing truck of the engine silver and installed the simple Williams "true blast II" sound in tender.  Here are the pictures guys, still not happy with the paint job mess !!

Pretty sure I have the same loco.

As a runner mine needed nothing but a little cleaning and oil. It's all metal drive IIRC and while simple....a great model.

All my issues were with the locos looks. I added tender skirts, air pumps under the nose, NYC shield and new decals as the original were paper stickers.

The end result.......you should with any luck have a great loco no matter if you leave it alone or rework it.

Don.........

I am having a TERRIBLE time in last 2 weeks as my husband just died (Sept 15th) and will soon be cremated.  I am at my WORSE possible time of my life in 60 years and lost of my husband's income.  I have never in my whole life cried so much almost everyday!!   I will finish it as the NWSL back in business which is good news that now I can get better gearbox # 668-6 for the Williams Hudson as all other work is already done.  I have NOT given up the engine it is coming out well but takes time.  When its done, I WILL post pictures of it including showing the new gearbox for it.
