I belonged to the LCCA, but only for a year or so.  It got old looking at all the articles that I had no direct interest in.  I like all kinds of trains, but it did get old seeing just Lionel items.

Is there some way a photo can be posted here?  It might be interesting for all of us to see it.

It's Lionel RailRoader Club, not Lionel Collectors Club of America.

I agree, it doesn't make sense.  Every week on the bay you can find a nice EX car for a lot less, maybe even at half the price.  It is a nice looking car though.  I go after the new issues that Gilbert never made, yet Lionel did back in the day.  I'm waiting for my yellow Timken AF box car to arrive.  But I might use an original AF frame and trucks to put the body on so it "seems right" for what I once wanted.

I'd love to see a Heinz pickle or aquarium car done the way Gilbert would have done it, and on the Gilbert style trucks.

Thanks for the picture Rusty.  It was indeed the LRRC.  The little grey cells aren't firing like they used to.  It was nice getting catalogs in the mail, but 95+% of it was for the three rail trains.  I removed the few Flyer pages and put them in a loose leaf binder for reference material.  But the Inside Track, although interesting in a general sense, was too sparse on Flyer.

Nice looking car in any case, but like others have said, it's been done similarly before, and for the money, I'd rather get something different.
