I have an LW Transformer that needs a new handle and green cap and I see reproductions that, some are clear and some are black. Mine originally came with no handle. My question is, which style originally came on the LW. One parts seller states his clear ones are NOS but most photos I see show the black handle.

Both of my original LWs' handles, one from the 50's and one from the mid 60's, are black.
(The one from ~1956, my first transformer, still powers my Legacy equipped set-up

Thanks Dave, I think I'll go with the black to preserve the "original" look.
yep mines black as well
I think why some aftermarket handles are left or made clear is it matches the clear illuminated dial. The handle looks kind of neat illuminated in the dark.
