I have a 4 car “baby” Madison car set (eg includes car #2622), and I would like to add diaphragms between the cars.
Any suggestions?

On those really tight curves, diaphragms might be more of a hindrance. Just a thought.

I agree with Dave that adding diaphragms can cause clearance issues, especially if you're running on tighter curves, but if you want to add them, you can definitely give it a try and see what works and what doesn't. With that being said, the diaphragms that are included on the Hogwarts Express coaches might be an option for you. They're available to order from Lionel's parts store (see info below) and they match up pretty closely with the openings on the baby Madison cars. I've added them to a few of my passenger cars. You might need to trim them down a bit though.
