I have an Marx Allstate 150 watt transformer in good shape. I've never seen another one but I'm sure they are out there. Just curious about a ballpark value. Thanks

the Marx 150W transformers are the only ones that have any significant value, but in recent years i have noticed a decline as more surface. even with the original box, they aren't a very easy sell these days. the Allstate version might attract a few more collectors as that one is the harder to find label. not sure if any of these ever came in sets, ...more likely a separate sale upgrade item. picture?

Train City has one in "very good" condition for $75.00
It doesn't seem likely that Marx included that BIG transformer in any sets. But with Marx, anything is possible.
I picked up one of those transformers in a yard sale a while ago. As I recall, it has an electromagnetic circuit breaker.
ReadingFan - you're right. Two words we never use with Marx are "never" and "always". Marx = fun.
