Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has managed to get DCS + WiFi and Legacy + WiFi all interconnected and working together? I've seen posts in getting DCS to interface with Legacy and TMCC with a splitter cable, but am getting a little apprehensive of multiple Y cables all over the place... Would be more comforting to know someone has done this before me...

I'm posting this in the DCS forum as that's my primary control system, but wouldn't mind if this were to get linked in the Legacy forum as well...

Thanks!

No worries - been there, done that, got the T-shirt!

I'm using DCS in Super TIU mode with 3 TIU/WIU combinations, cable-connected to Legacy and LCS with an SER2 module. Works completely integrated without any interaction issues whatsoever.

After reading Barry's latest DCS book, I added 2 TIU/WIU and LCS to my home network. I often run the DCS APP and LCS iCab app on my iPhone at the same time. It is easy to switch between the app. Sometime, the Lionel iCab app requires me to reconnect after switching back to it, but this occurs quickly.  Sometimes I had to read again on the DCS app.  Since updating the DCS WIU to the latest firmware, I have not had that issue.  I use an iPad running the yard on LCS app to control my switches, but usually do not run the DCS app on the iPad.

Running both together has worked pretty well.
