Probably make the trip with a friend (been there twice; great layout).  Need to say hello to Marty and thank him for all of his tips/help.

 

Always good to see and hear Mike Regan.

I plan to be there to harass and annoy Big Mike and the King of the Mice to the best of my ability.

"Big Mike" seems to be able to dish it out pretty well himself.

 

 

I'll be there ! My first time to visit Mercer Junction too.

For those who have never been to Mercer Junction, you are in for a great day.  Great store, great layout and great staff.

I hope to attend.  I have been to the store once, loved the layout, and the service.

Lunch at the Iron Bridge followed by an afternoon at Mercer Junction.  And Mike Reagan on hand to add even more class to an already classy place.  A great way to spend what I truly hope and pray will be a dry and sunny Saturday after a solid week of rain. 

Allan....you made my mouth water at the mention of the Iron Bridge Restaurant. If you haven't already....try Rachel's Roadhouse....The Springfield Grille....and The Log Cabin....all on Route 19....all owned by the same folks....all with great food! And....there is a new (2-3 years) Springfield Restaurant in Cranberry on 228.

 

Since this IS a train forum ...look for the PRR tower sign "Bridge" in the Iron Bridge. It used to be on the wall facing Mercer...up high.

 

I will try to get to Mercer, too, if I can get out of "Trick or Treat Duty."

Yep, I've been to both, and usually tend to alternate my visits since both are excellent.

 

Springfield Grill is only open for dinner, but that's okay since the same folks have a Springfield Grill here just a half-mile of so from the OGR office.

 

I never have tried the Log Cabin...yet!

 

I just wish some of my MTH and LCT preorders had come in so I could also come home with some choo-choo stuff this time around.

I regret I won't be able to join you at the Iron Bridge, but I think I can make it to the demonstration at 1:00.

 

BTW they just opened a new Rachel's Roadhouse in Butler at Rt 422 & Rt 8.  It is in the old Dingbat's building.
