Does anyone have a method or picture of Miller Lighted Billboards on how their attached to building?

Just looking for some ideas on how to attach their animated signs, run the wire etc.

Their signs have the connector on the bottom so this creates a problem when wiring.

Do most of you cut a hole on top of a MTH building leaving the connector inside of the building and then run your wires?

Thank you.

P.S. I am using the adapter and the power distribution boards that can handle 10 lights. NO battery pack.

Depends on thickness. Here's an Ameritown, Walthers, Downtown Deco and River Leaf building. The River Leaf Woolworths sign isn't mounted but you can see I had to cut out a pretty large opening for the connector. For the DD bus station I ground out inside the wall. Ameritown and Walthers I just cut a slot. All the connectors are secured with GC Electronics silicone adhesive and I'm not using battery packs. The roof on the Walthers building roof isn't fastened down since the sign sequences can be switched.

I did as the others above have done. Cut a hole in the roof for the power cable attachment and glued the sign to the roof. I also cut a small holes in the roof or back wall for the switches on the control board so I could select modes and turn the sign on and off. I mounted the board inside the building with 3M double sided foam tape, lining it up with the holes for it's operating switches. So far I used Ameri-Towne buildings and have not yet used an MTH building, but I imagine the same could be done with the MTH buildings. Sorry I don't have any pictures handy.

I don't like cutting holes in the roofs of the buildings.   I mount the sign on a rolled out piece of gray or black clay.   The clay supports the sign.  I then run the wire along the top of the roof and down the side not showing.   I cover the wire on the roof with a black or gray tape according to the color of the roof.   The circuit board is mounted under the table top.

Besides cutting a hole in the roof, I also build bases out of black foam board stacked several sheets thick and then cut a hole in it to save the roof from big holes. If you make the base wide enough and place it behind the roof cornice you can't even see it. Then you just make a sliver of a hole to drop the wire inside the building. Then light it up!!!
