Just purchased a set of Lionel 18" alum. Pass. cars. There are 12 missing springs on the entire set of 6 cars. These cars were purchased on the forum. Lionel does not have the springs but they do have the trucks. Has anyone else had this issue and if so who would have these springs? See pictures below and thanks for any help you can pass on.

They are missing because the truck frames are broken. I had the same problem with a set of Santa Fe cars and had to replace all of the trucks. Blame it on zinc rot.
Replace the trucks. Its a waste of time to try and glue them together. They will just fail somewhere else.
the PO should have disclosed this problem.

Thanks Pete. Thankfully the trucks are available.
No doubt you want to run these cars but expect to have to replace the trucks on all of them. You might want to wait for the next 50% off sale.

Did the seller disclose the issue? And does he have a solution for the issue?
Have not received a response so far.
Hmmm... hopefully things will work out for the best. Nothing worse than buying something you can't use/play with.
