I first want to apologize as I'm sure this question has been asked a zillion times over years. I was having a hard time finding the answer I needed via search so I'm asking again.....
I just picked up the Amtrak Genesis MTH Railking RTR set at a garage sale... on a whim. This is my first MTH set. I'm currently running a few LC locos and one LC+ loco. I was curious if I could power the small layout with the MTH power supply ( I believe it is a 50w unit) and run the LC+ and LC locos without issue?
This is all just temporary living room carpet setup with the kids so I'm not expecting perfect performance (I will need a larger power supply to do this properly) but I just wanted to give it a go without burning something up.
What do you guys think? Appreciate the info. -Ryan
