Are there any concerns/pitfalls in using multiple different transformers on a TMCC layout ?
I have a modern 135W Powehouse "brick", a 190W KW, and a 175W TW. Other than proper phasing, and adding TVS diode and fuse/circuit breaker protection, is there anything else to take into consideration?
As a side note, I remember when old ZW's were $300+. I saw at least a dozen under $90 at the Greenberg show in Edison yesterday.

The only other issue is making sure you have the variable transformer set at close to the same voltage as the PowerHouse if there will ever be a transition between power districts.
I observed on another post that the KW's U post is Common (outer rail), and the TW's U post is center rail. Do I wire then this way if they are to be used on one layout with common outside rail?
Lionel was not consistent about which terminal was the "hot" terminal. On most of the single output transformer, the U post was the "hot" terminal, but on the multi-output ones like the KW and ZW, the U post(s) were the ground or common.
