Attached is the wiring diagram for the connection of the modern crossing gates. If I prefer to use the aux power in - how does the wiring change.
1) Also, are normally no and no contacts pulled to common.
2) when are accessory power and common used.
It appears the wiring diagram you are using is for 153IR Controller activation. See pages 3-6 of attached instructions for more information.
1) Yellow wires go to no (normally open) and white wires go to nc (normally closed). Black wires go to accessory ground.
2) Optional Power Supply or Accessory power (center rail) and common (outside rails) are used when the controller is not connected to track power.
